If anyone has access to Scottish marriage records I would be grateful if anyone can find the wedding of Dafydd Davies-b 1907 who trained as a vet in Edinburgh and married in Scotland a lady called Betty-surname unknown-probably in jhe period of the late 40s or early 50s-they then moved to Wales
With thanks

Scottish BMD info has to be paid for using credits on Scotlands People website. They cost, I believe, £7.00 for 30

There are no subscriptions

Have you looked for his death ?

The informant on his cert could well be family

For any marriage cert in Scotland after c1911 you would have to locate the marriage ref paying for the info with a unit and then order a copy through the site

People cant find that info for you online

ScotlandsPeople doesn't show any marriages for a Dafydd Davies (or spelling variation) 1930 - 1970.

Nor a David Nicholls Davies or variation.

There isn't a death for the name on FMP.

many threads about the same thing, with some replies from Alan

the same information about 1911 for instance has been researched and posted starting in 2009

Alan, the trick you need is to click on My Threads over on the left of your monitor

that will show you all threads you have started or posted in and you can click on the one you want, to read replies and add to it yourself

if you want to try again on one of your questions, just add a new message to that thread

that will bring it back to the top of the forum list where people will see it and also see the work that has already been done on it

to just keep asking the same question again in new threads and not even mention the information you have because people have researched it for you, is not fair to people who don't know what work has been done before

Alan are you acquainted with the person who has

Dafydd Davies
born 1907 Tylorstown, Mid Glamgan

in their family tree at this website?

it seems like this would be your same Dafydd Davies

you can search trees here to find that person and send a private message
