sorry not sure i understand
the thread you list is mine (i had forgotten i put it on there).

i have put my details on the national contact register and am waiting for social services to share my adoption file with me (Essex have approx a 1-year waiting list) and have been told my appt will be after Christmas.

i have had contact with my birth mother who is not interested in contact and i now feel i would like to trace my birth father. i realise i have very little to go on, but feel i have nothing to lose by posting on GR

Looking for my birth father - Michael Collins who was born around 1945. In 1966 he was living in the Ealing/Wembley/Brent area. My mother's name was Jenny.
