Nora Flaherty is such a common name that identifying her birth would be almost impossible without more info

searching at familysearch.org for Nora Flaherty born 1918 to 1930 there were 6 births ... only the 1930 one gives a mother's surname in that index

but also 18 Norah Flaherty births

these are those results

was Eileen born in 1950?

so looking for a Nora Flaherty marriage in England/Wales say 1950 to 1960 ... in case she stayed in England and married ... there are 10 or so ... but again also Norah Flaherty marriages which is the more common spelling just in case

if you are related, adding your name to the adoption contact registry would be the first step in case family of Nora's does the same

In 1953 the people living at 138 Ladbroke grove were Ellen and James Flaherty. Which could be coincidence but is just as likely to be family. They were there up to 1965 which is as far as the electoral rolls on Ancestry go .

excellent Rose

for a younger Nora as Jane thinks:

11 Nora(h) Flahertys born in Ireland 1930-1935

those ones being more recent do all show mother's surname
