If Julian was born in 1959 then he appears to have a tree on this site.

If you go to "Search" at the top right of the screen and then click on "search all member trees" you will get a search box. Put in Julian's name and you will find the name in Julian's tree. You can then click on the "find out more" box and send a message direct to Julian.

Thanks for your help but thie Julian passed away in 1994 i,m trying to trace any living relatives of these people and dont seem to be getting very far thank you once again x.

When and where were Charles and Julian born please? What other information do you have as I'm not spotting Julian's birth which without a mmn makes it difficult to find Charles'.

Julian seems to have had a son of the same name, born in 1959. The birth reg is shown on http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

There are a number of J Chalkley's listed on http://www.thephonebook.bt.com. Have you tried contacting them?

There is also a Winifred Chalkley on the ER to 2014 in Stevenage who may or may not be Julian 1919's widow. There are a number of Chalkleys living in Hertfordshire!

If correct, with both of them with a dob in 1919 but less than 9 months aprt, at least one of them must have been adopted.

Rather than making assumptions about a marriage for Charles, it might be best to purchase his DC from http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ to see who the informant was.

If the Julian that passed away in 1994 is "your" Julian then as DetEcTive sas above he had a son of the same name in 1959.

This would seem to be the person on this site who has his tree on here.

If you follow the instructions I gave earlier to search all member trees you will find him and should be able to send a message to him.
