Thats a very awkward place to be . did your mum tell him she was pregnant or was it too brief a relationship ?

If so I think you may have to accept you may not find who you are looking for

Shirley
Unfortunately my mother was not in a relationship with him. I am here in the hope that he knows more of me than I do him. I know there is very little hope but as long as it's a 'little', I have to try...

Thanks

Do you think there is any significance in your second name ?

Aren't there any other family members around that may know what Eddies full name was

I am looking for the smallest needle in the biggest hay stack!!! Please read on....
I am looking for my biological father... GR is really my last hope on here to find him hoping some details may jog someone's memory. I was also adopted by my biological mother and her husband in 1972, adoptive name 'Dean'.

Biological mother 'Lynda Pittam' she met a man (my biological father) known only as Eddie, in Birmingham around 1968-69 at a Blues party (nothing to do with football) as they were called. He is of Caribbean origin and would be around 65 years old, give or take. He (Eddie) had a friend called Harold (black Harry), (sorry no offence ment by this). Harold was a work colleague of my grandfather Harold Pittam, but we never knew his surname so find it difficult to even track him.

My mother lived in Smallheath, Birmingham at the time of my birth (November 1969) , with her parents. She was a rubber worker at Automative Products (AP) the same place as my grandfather.

Very little information is known that I am able to give but I am part of the the government adoption contact register.

The obvious avenues have already been investigate by myself, ie relatives and friends.

All other avenues have been painstakingly researched but any genuine leads, information or advise would be welcome.

Many Thanks
Serena
