Hi There

I am trying to locate my mum's siblings or more so their children as the chances are her siblings are no longer alive.

My mum's dad was married three times. He first married in 1908/9 and had 6 children. Four of whom survived. His name was Thomas McGeachy and he married Alice Stewart in 1908/9. The children were Margaret, John, Harry, Annie, Thomas and Alice. Margaret and Alice died days after birth. Alice Stewart died and Thomas went on to marry Helen Gibb and then Adeline McGeachy.. it is the children or grandchildren linked to his first marriage that I am after,

Is he Thomas McGeachy, born 1888, Greenock?

Where were the children born - all in Scotland?

Are they all in your tree on here, and have you contacted anyone who has any of your family in their trees?

Lisa

Yes that's them. No one seems to have in their tree

He is in the Ockwell family tree on ancestry.

Have you seen it (via mundia)?

Added:
Or is it your tree?

Scotlandspeople Centre called for again Lisa.

Marriages more than 75 years ago can be viewed online. Also deaths more than 50 years ago.

Who was the informant on Thomas's death registration? Could it have been a child from his first marriage or even a grandchild?

According to that tree on Ancestry, Annie Jackson McGeachy married Charles Victor Brooke in 1937 and she died in 1953. Her husband died in 1963. You could check the informant on his death registration to see if it was a child of the marriage.

Harry Stewart McGeachy died 1981, no marriage given.

John McGeachy, no date of death or marriage given but looks like the details of his marriage and children are private.

Thomas McGeachy married Mary Dundas in 1947. He died in 1988. DOB for his wife given as 1898 and no year of death given.
