you really should look in search all trees

That should be the first place you look when trying to make connections

a member named allan healey(note spelling) has in his tree a stewart born in 1945

and his membership number is a recent one

No they were not adopted. Their father left his wife and daughter in Dundee and took the two boys south and after a while when he realised he couldn't look after them he placed them in the Home. My neighbour has had no contact with them at all the. I will need to get more information from her.

Were they adopted?

If so, the only chance you have is if they have trees on here in their birth names

Have you looked?

has your neighbour ever had any contact with them?

I am trying to contact my neighbours two brothers who were born in Broughty Ferry Dundee but later moved to Plymouth with his father. I understand from this lady that they were both put into Dr Barnadoes down there. They were born somewhere around 1945-1949 Any information would be gratefully received or where else might I look.
