Find Living Relatives

Hello everyone, my name is Jeanette Brereton and I have just joined this site. I am looking for my Sister Dorothy Harvey.
Dorothy was born on the 21st November 1954 at Barton On Sea Maternity Hospital.
Our Mother Ursula Jean Furley/ Harvey formerly Bonser was living in Boscombe in Bournemouth at the time of Dorothys birth.
Mum was born on the 20th July 1930 and she was adopted at the age of 2 as her
mother died in 1932.
Mum also lived at Southsea in Hants when she had me.
Mum had a brother called Rex Alfred Furley who was born in 1931 in Westbury on Seven. He married a Christina Anne Pritchard and I believe they had 2 Sons Carl and Kevin. ( I am not 100% certain on the last paragraph ).
Mum was married to a James Frederick Harvey in 1950 in Wantage in Berkshire.
He was living in Moorends in Doncaster at one time.
Mum also had a Son called Michael D Harvey born in 1952 but unfortunately died in 1972. He was adopted out as was Dorothy and myself.
Michael was born in the Forest Of Dean, Gloucestshire.
I was born on the 10th of February 1957 at Ashley Hill in Bristol and was adopted in March 1960.
Dorothys adoption was in progress to around the same time.
I have been told on good authority that James Frederick Harvey is not related to Michael, Dorothy or Myself.
My Father is unknown at this time and im not sure if Michael, Dorothy or myself have the same Father.
Mum was 29 when she had me and was a factory worker.
I have another address for her in Ruardean Hill Drybrook in Gloucestshire.
I have been searcing for a very long time and will not give up so please if anyone can help me however little info you have please get in touch, I will be eternally greatful. Thankyou

Hello again, I know this is a big stab in the dark but would any one be able to tell me how I can find out what my adopted sister Dorothy Harvey born 21st November 1954 had her name changed to when she was adopted. Im clutching at straws now x just to add on Dorothys surname could of been misspelt as Bouser on her birth cert. thankyou x

there seems to be ONLY one Harvey/Bonser marriage
but of course there could be a marriage etc for another with the maiden name of Bonser

there are 3 births in CHESHIRE 1964 /then twins 1969

One of the 1969 twin is on 2 GR family trees

There are some other Harvey/Bonser births also registered under the surname Bowen. Could they be siblings?

First one was born right after your adoption in Portsmouth and the later ones were in Stockport.

Hello and thankyou for your information. i do know about my birth Mum Ursula Jean and your right about becoming a Bowen. She did indeed have a Daughter called Debbie a son Paul and twins Michelle and Melanie. I have met them.
It is a shame about Rex but thankyou for telling me. My Mum still lives in Stockport. I don't know which one was born in Portsmouth.
