The children of the Cook/Rush marriage are in various trees on here, and one member seems to have all 7 (?) of them, so worth trying to make contact.

There is no marriage to account for the parents of John and Rose and their numerous siblings.

I wonder whether the mother had been married and widowed during WW1, or the marriage could have taken place outside of England and Wales

It does say Grimsby on the image, but I suppose that's just a more common name than Grimsey!
