Hi everyone,
I am looking for any relatives of Bertie Turnbull who was married and lived there for a while. He had two sons and a daughter plus two step children.
One of his grandchildren and I are trying to piece together the family. We have never even sen a photo of him. He was born in 1881 in London and died in Battersea in 1957.

Thomas Turnbull b. 1849 Ingleton, Durham and died in Mar 20 1894 in Scaling, Yorks., was from Durham, I believe. He married Charlotte Eliza Sheppard. Thoans was the son of Thomas b.1816 in Piercebridge, Durham and Elizabeth b. 1816 in Ingleton. Hope this is the right one.

I don't think so although all us Turnbull are related somewhere back in our history. My Turnbulls came from Roxburghshire around Minto. Bertie's father was born at Windsor Castle but his father was from Minto area. Bertie was born in London.
