I'm trying to find Michael Collins who was born around 1945. In 1966 he was living in Middlesex (near Western Avenue).

Just for ref:

'Western Avenue, some 10 miles (16 km) in length, is one of the major roads leading out of London, England. It is part of the A40, leaving the city in a north-westerly direction. '

Have you been told that you are related to him?

Yes - he is my Dad. I was adopted in 1966. I don't have much info. to go on. I think his mum or sister's name was Florence.

Is he likely to be aware of your existence?

Alison

Yes I believe he's aware.

I've registered my details on the Adoption Contact Register too. Not sure what else to do though.

Very difficult with such a common name, and no firm birth info

He could have been born in Ireland.........Michael Collins is a particularly Irish combination

Yes I realise i'm looking for a needle in a haystack but I thought it worth trying on GR.
