Find Living Relatives

Has anyone have any information on the above two ladies. They lived in Capreol area of Canada and lived in the same house as Frederick Chubb, my great Uncle. They could be a wife of his son Neville born 1918 and a daughter of same, but could be just visitors at the time of the Canada, Voters Lists, 1935-1980

Sorry, it was in the subject heading which does not show in the message. Their names are Sarah and Elizabeth Chubb.

As Caproer is apparently in Ontario, which record are you referring to, or is it something completely different?

Without further evidence, it would be easy to assume that Neville and Sarah are man & wife as Sarah is listed immediately after Neville.

Do you have any yob for these people? What earlier records have you found? Bear in mind that the age of majority is likely to have been 21.

We know from the passenger lists that Neville was born c1916, so would expect a marriage after 1936. Any child listed on the 1949 ER would have to have been born before 1928. On that basis, Elizabeth is unlikely to be Neville's daughter.

If Elizabeth was Frederick's daughter, then why didn't she visit England with the rest of the family in 1929?

Do you know what happened to Fred's mother, Elizabeth? Might she have gone to stay/live with him? If she didn't then, Elizabeth may remain a mystery.

Thank you. Elizabeth Chubb (Lyle) died in Swanage, Dorset in 1948 and, of course, may have travelled to Canada with Frederick, his wife and son, for a visit so living in the property at the time the list was compiled.
