Thx for your response, Patchem. Her parents had split up some time before her birth in 1944. Her mother had gone home to Shropshire from Coventry. I have her birth certificate and there is no doubt that her mother was Sarah Ann Stringer (nee Hodson) who was married to William James Stringer in Coventry 1932. The father's name slot on her birth registration is blank.

Have you got the death certificates of her parents, to see who the informants were?
(Just in case a second marriage or other information showing)

Yes I tried to trace both parents and kids through Google, 192.com public view and BT White pages, but no luck ... Too many hits. I'm in the US ... How do I access the Electoral Roll?

Have you googled those names followed by..192.com to see if they show up on the Electoral Roll?

I'm looking for a lost cousin, Dian Mary Stephen STRINGER birth registered Sept quarter 1944 in Donnington, Lillenhall, Newport, Shropshire. Marriage to Geoffrey A PRICE in Sept quarter 1965 registered in Wellington, Shropshire. Tried Facebook, 192.com, Google, etc., but no joy.
