Hi! I am trying to contact any Attwood relations living in the Skipton/Whitby areas of Yorkshire. The original Attwood boys were born in Wisbech,Cambridgeshire,John born approx 1850 and died 1925,Edward born approx 1853 and died 1894 and Joseph born 1855 and died 1933. They were the children of my 2 x Great Aunt,Hannah Thompson born 1826 in Wisbech Their history is full of twists and turns so if any relations need assistance in their search then I am happy to help. |

Have you looked to see if they appear in anyone's tree on here, and then tried to contact the tree owner? |

If you think that people with the name are living in the areas you suggest, try the phone book |

It is unwise to assume that descendants - if any - will be living in the area in which their ancestors were resident over a century ago.............not to say that there aren't any, but don't limit your search. |

Hi Reggie! Thank you so much for all your research on my behalf. It will certainly extend this particular line of my relations. I have been working on this line for some time because there are several name changes involved that have really "muddied the waters" so to speak. Once again many thanks. |
