Hi Patchem, thank you for your reply ,no i have'nt put my name on the register,i didn't know there was one.I only know that she was born in 1915 ,i was only about 14 the last time i saw her in the 60's and all the family from that generation have all gone now so there is no-one left to ask so i am rearly stuck as to where to look.i have all the census up untill 1911 but they are to early for Annie .i found out that her daughter had been to where Annie was born looking for any family .as we are all pensioners now it would be nice to trace her, and answer her questions about her mom. regards Mary

With Annie's exact birth date you can narrow down possible deaths.

If you are looking for an adopted child have you put your name on the adoption register?

I don't see a death for an Ann or Annie Clarke in Chester in 1979.

What reason do you have for thinking she died then - have you found a record of it, Mary?
Did she have the same surname, or had she married?

Mary, in this thread you are looking for Annie's daughter, but in your new post you say you're looking for Annie.

Do you mean you want info about her parents, siblings, etc? Or are you still really looking for the daughter - which is pretty much impossible to narrow down?
