	Linda, People do not know this, they are looking on various websites to find out the information that seems to fit the facts given. e.g.free bmd for births, marriages and deaths in England and Wales: http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl Ancestry (and FMP) for censuses and more extensive bmd coverage: http://search.ancestry.co.uk/oldsearch/default.aspx
