She would not have been adopted from birth.All I know is that her and her brothers were taken from their parents as school children.

You could also try ordering her birth certificate to see if it says she was adopted.

The other person is my cousin that I know about. It is just Barbara that is the mystery. There is a possibility that she could have been adopted and had her name changed.

Yes I have been doing research myself (only online)I have never had any contact with her as her and her brothers were fostered when they were children.

Yes she was born in 1937 sorry my mistake.No as far as I know she did not attend her brothers funeral.

...............there is no birth for Barbara Chadwick in Cambs in 1939

There is one in 1937
