Dear Shirley, Thank you so very much for the information. Yes I have already got My uncle George's information from the war graves commission. The information that Maud remarried maybe explains why the Family lost touch. I am getting on in years now and would like to pass some letters and photos from uncle George ( to his mum and dad) from India and Singapore, on to his family. Thank you once again. Christine

Thank you Reggie. I am afraid I have been rather lax in trying to find them.. I wrote to the commonwealth war graves commission in 1994 and received a reply. not being on the computer at that time and every day life, well I just never got round to do any thing else. Their Father uncle George Died on October 15th 1945 in a plane crash whilst being repatriated to India. The graves registration service did not find him but was commemorated by name on the Rangoon Memorial in Myanmar formerly Burma. It gives directions how to get there, but of course I will never go. Maud I know very little of other than she came back to England and lived in Wyke-regis Weymouth Dorsetshire.

Unless they are GR members, and actively using the message boards, they will not see your posts.

Have you tried doing any searches?

Do you, for instance, know when and where the parents died?

When and where did you last have contact with any of them?
