Melanie Report 29 Oct 2013 22:28

Hi
I am looking for a missing aunt, who was born in Lambeth in July 1960, her name was Julie Orchard and her mothers maiden name was Jones.
Julie was adopted by Peggy and Len Bones, her full name was Julie Belinda Bones, she attended St Marks Primary school and Michael Ramsey secondary school, she lived in Kennington, last address was Fairford House, Kennington Lane.
Julie went on to marry a David Thomas in 1979, had two children, Daniel and Heidi. they lived in Akerman Road, Camberwell with Davids family. She was forced to leave the family home under terribke circumstances and Daniel and Heidi have not seen her since and are desperate to find their mum
There was possibly a link to Wales later on in the 1980's
Daniel and Heidi now have children of their own, and would love her to get in touch.
Julies children, biological sister and adopted family are looking for Julie and haven't seen her for over 20 years. If anyone has any information, please get in touch. Julies children are desperate to get in touch with their mum.

There is a marriage of a Julie b Thomas/bones to a graham o'connell in Wales in 1983, but I haven't been able to find anymore info or been able to find if this is Julie
If anyone has any info please get in touch, or Julie of you are reading this, Daniel just wants you to get in touch he misses you terribly

The marriage you quote looks a possibility .personally I would get the cert to see if it is her so you can take your enquiry from there

Unless she is a genes member she wont be aware of this thread enquiry

Have you looked on Search Trees to see if she is listed

Hi
Thank you for your quick reply
I haven't searched trees yet will do that now
I'm not too sure how marriages are listed but the record I found has
Julie bones married graham r o'connell
Julie Thomas married graham r o'connell
They are listed one after the other
I found e certificate on here
Would this be the same marriage as Julie was bones and married a Thomas
Thanks again

Melainie, I agree with Shirley - you must order that marriage cert., if only to exclude it. But with such an unusual name it is very promising - there doesn't seem to be a birth for a Julie B. Bones anywhere in England or Wales.
If it is her, there will be info on there which might enable you to track down Graham or his family, which be a start.

Hi jan
Thank you so much for your reply
Julie was born Julie orchard and her biological mothers names was jones
She was handed over to my nan because her mother couldn't cope
And my nan went onto adopt her, as she has done with 3 other children
So her birth is listed under orchard, she became bones as a toddler
I will tell daniel everything you have said to do
Thanks again!

Well, I wish you the very best of luck.
Just in case you aren't aware, you can order marriage certs here:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

I mentioned the lack of a birth of a Julie B. Bones as suggestive that the marriage is for the person you are looking for,
