There are a few Oliver McWilliams on White Pages for USA - might be worth a look. Very few without a middle initial so wouldn't be too much to check them out, if only to exclude them.
Likewise just 8 McWilliams in New York state.

Does anyone know if there are sites which would locate someone in America, a bit like our electoral registers or free BMD to find out if Oliver and Patricia had any children, died etc..

I know America is a big place and the only starting point I have is that they both went to New York in the late 50s. I have not been able to find any other records of them in this country.

Yip I found that entry - I did find him getting a pan am flight from Prestwick I think about February 1957 and Patricia McWilliams getting a flight a few months later - both to new York. I am not sure he is the Oliver I am looking for, but I am almost sure given that the dates and the area (Lancashire) fit. But I am lost from there.

Hi- I am looking for some help in finding the above - what I do know is that he was born between 1934-36, came from Ireland, last known address 15 Upper Main Street Maghera Ballymena. In the mid 50s he worked as a labourer in Morcombe and he had a brother who was a priest.

I think he married Patricia O'Brien around 1957 in Blackburn and moved to America. I have no idea where to go from there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
