Welcome to the boards Tmich_uk

The first step is for your husband to get his original birth certificate. If his father acknowledged the birth, he will be named.

If your husband was adopted, he should apply to the social services who arranged the adoption for his file.

If he has already done all that, then the only thing is to try and find his birth mother, and see if she will tell him more about his father - if you are in contact with her and she won't say, then its a dead end.

Do you know if his birth mother had/has siblings? Do they have any information?

My husband, born to Jean Whitehouse (surname since changed), who already had a young son named, Peter, was born in Wolverhampton, West Midlands on June 16th 1986, named - Stuart Keith Andrew Whitehouse (later changed to Hickie).

We dont have any details, dont know his name.
All we know is that his birth father, and his father both suffered with ADHD.

We dont know if his birth father has any other children.

Any help or information would be very much appreciated.
