Hi I'm looking for my mother's brother, sisters and (more likely now) any offspring. I hope you can help. Apparently he was in the Royal Marines ? He was born in Newmilns Ayrshire in 1927. His mother died in 1935 after giving birth to my mother. He had three sisters Grace, Mary and Margaret (my mother). His mother was Jean Ferguson and father Alexander (Sandy) MacMillan.
If any of this is familiar to you..would you please get back to me ? It would be much appreciated.

HI Nan.

As you aren't sure of the spelling, it might be useful to find his birth reg on http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/welcome.aspx

That is where Scottish BMD are held and is a pay to view site.

Have you tried searching all members trees on here, friends reunited, or Forces reunited?
