Carol,

Have you attempted to contact anyone who has these people in their trees on here?

Have you looked for living descendants of the people you mention, and believe you have found any?

You have to go out and search for them, not expect them to come to you as very few people read these boards.

I do not see why anyone must have a photo, sorry, but lots of people are not interested in keeping photos, labelling them correctly, or even having them taken in the first place. Many people just get rid of everything once a person has died, unfortunately.

Have done the basic research. If anyone has any info or photos on Peter Anderson Gardnerb1864c and his wife Katherine Parker Dill b.1863c, WIlliam Hall Gardner b1890 and sister Katherine Euphemia Gardner b1892 then you are welcome to reply. They are all related to Sir Charles Bruce Gardner and someone MUST have a photo at least, Thanks Carol Gardner

William Hall Gardner b. 1890 Catford Lewisham, was Henry Gardner's Nephew. Henry is Sir Charles Bruce Gardner's father. The info is sensitive and I would prefer not to broadcast it . His son by a legitimate marriage was my father. I would like any photos or info.of his kin as they would be sentimental to me. My father was dislocated from the family in 1925 when he was a baby and nothing was heard from since. William Hall's mother was Katherine Parker Dill. Thank you.

Sir Charles Bruce-Gardner 1st Baronet Bruce-Gardner (6 November 1887 - 1 October 1960), was an English industrialist, specialising in mechanical and aircraft production.

Born Charles Bruce Gardner in London, he was the son of Henry Gardner and Florence Arliss. Educated at St. Dunstan's College and Battersea College of Technology, he was registered as a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

A director of John Summers & Sons from 1913, he subsequently became chairman of the John Lysaght Group He was also deputy-chairman of the Steel Company of Wales, a director of the Consett Iron Company and GKN, and chairman of British Iron and Steel Federation. He later became president of the Iron and Steel Institute.

Appointed an industrial advisor to the Governor of the Bank of England, as Chairman of the Society of British Aircraft Constructors from 1938 to 1943, he advised on the Shadow factory plan.[1]

Changing his name by deed poll on 21 December 1937 to Charles Bruce-Gardner, he was knighted in the New Years honours list of 1938. He was created 1st Baronet Bruce-Gardner, of Frilford, Berkshire, on 12 February 1945.
