I am grateful to all of you for the help and leads . Does anyone know how or if it is possible to find business listings for the mid sixties and their directors ?

The Brian who married in Cambridge in 1957 still lives there with his wife.

I don't think you can access RAF records unless you are next of kin and then they would have to be applied for

Have you used free bmd to look for possible births?

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

Bryan B, 1935, was born Yorkshire.

Possible marriage in 1957 in Cambridge, and 2 children born there.

How likely do you think that is?

There is also a marriage for a Bryan B Whitehead in 1970 in York.

Added:
If it was that Bryan, there is a death for him in 1995.
Will send it by pm as the middle name is distinctive.

Do not know as my natural mother was unmarried I understand that she broke the relationship with my natural father on discovering that he was married with two children . She left Halifax and returned to her family in Wales. I do not know what either of them looked like . I have only recently discovered who my birth mother was and have not made contact with others in her family due to her sad recent death I despair of ever knowing any blood relations. Thank you for trying to help. I had hoped the RAF connection might help but as I'm new to this have drawn a blank so far .

I am looking for my natural father the only informations I have is that he was an officer in the RAF and was married with two children prior to 1964 . He left the RAF and during the mid sixties was the managing director of a dry cleaning business in Halifax . I do not have an exact birthdate but believe he was 29 yrs old in 1964.
