Hi, All. :-)
I am looking for my late Dad's family. His name was Michael Joseph and was born in Dublin in 1931 to James McMullen and Mary ( known as Molly ) Desmond. He was born out of wed-lock and fosterd out, they kept in contact untill he was 10 . His last memory of them was visiting their home in Dublin, he was sure he had at least two siblings . I believe His parents were married in 1934 ish and come from the Dublin area. Any help would be appriciated.

Welcome to the boards, Elizabeth.

Have you looked to see if anyone on genes has any of your father's family in their trees on here?

Elizabeth, there seems to be an Ancestry tree with this couple on - is that you? It's a private tree, so I can't actually view it, but after a bit of fiddling around it on my part, it seems they have used name Molly rather than Mary. They seem to have a daughter Bernadette Marie born Dublin 1934.
If this is not your tree might be a really good idea to contact this person, if only to exclude them.
I would be happy to do so on your behalf if you are not an Ancestry member, but you would have to PM me your email address and see if they are willing to contact you.
Otherwise you might consider a free 2-week trial membership.

You need to obtain the marriage cert.

..........it will tell you their ages, and - hopefully - the names of each of their fathers.

Those details will enable you to look for possible info in the 1911 and 1910 censuses.............which are free online.
