Looking for John, Barry and Paul Mumford

Hi, the birth of Paul T Mumford is definitely the right one (my mothers maiden name on register). There does only seem to be one Paul T Mumford born around then and someone has kindly sent me the address for that person. After looking at 192 again, on another page it says age 60-64 which would be right. So I will try to make contact and find out for sure. Thank you to everyone for your help.

Problem is, you don't know if they were adopted or not. I have a feeling there is some kind of register showing original names of adoptees (not adopted names obviously!) but for the life of me can't figure out how you access this, or even if I am correct.
I was trying to see if the brothers are around under their original names. My only point re, Paul was that there is only one birth for a Paul T. Mumford in England/Wales (excluding the one who died as a child).
Obviously this might well not be him - he isn't listed 2009, only 2002-7 and 2010, at least looking at free search . I assume you mean he was in his 40's 2010, in which case yes, he is definitely too young..

Sorry, Jan, my mistake.................

If they were adopted, their surnames will not now be Mumford.

You could add yourself to the national adoption contact register.....................

Thank you so much to everyone for you replies. I have looked on 192 but not found the right ages. John was born in 1948, Barry in 1950 and Paul in 1952. We have the same mother, I will add them to my tree. Have contacted a few people on here with the same names in their trees but no luck yet. The Paul Terence in Hertfordshire is too young, it says on 192 he was in his 40's in 2009. Will keep trying. Thanks again.

Sorry Reggie, I might have phrased it badly - I didn't mean I couldn't see all the brothers, just that I could only see above for Paul specifically.

Have you done any research yourself?

Which parent do you share with these men?

Elaine, I can only see 2 Paul T. Mumford births - one was in Solihull, and sadly it looks as if he died aged 2.
As far as I can see, there is only one marriage in this name, in Hatfield Hertfordshire 1994 (he would have been 40 though). This person is on 192.com, middle name Terence.
If this is your Paul's middle name, would be worth checking out.

Have you looked to see if they are in anyone's tree in here under their original names?

Have you put them in your tree, so that if they do decide to look for possible relatives they can contact you?
