Find Living Relatives

I am looking for any descendants of Violet Edwards (nee Stacey) who died in 1944 in London. She married Richard Edwards and had four children Knobby (Reginald), Rene, Joan and Georgina.

I'm looking for relatives as Rene, Joan and Georgina would dearly love to find a photograph of their mother. Knobby sadly passed away in March this year.

I'm their nephew's wife - Richard went on to remarry and had more children.

Does anyone out there know about Violet, and hold any photo's/paperwork?

This looks like Violet in the 1911 census with her parents and siblings. You could try putting some of these names in the "search" box and then "search all member trees" box to see if anyone has any of these people in their trees. One of the extended family may have photographs.:-

Thanks Kathleen. I did have contact with a lady where we shared parts of a tree, but she wasn't a close enough relative. But I've just done that with one of the relatives you have listed, so hopefully, if I persevere, something might turn up.

Do you know when and where and who Richard went on to marry,and when did he die?
Did family photos get passed on to his next set of children?

I do know who Richard went on to marry - an Esther Edwards, and Richard and Esther were my husband's grandparents. They had six children - who are all very close to Rene, Joan and Georgina ... no one has any photo's at all. Richard died in early 1980's.

I guess my first query wasn't to look for descendants of Violet, but extended family of her sibling's children etc.

Thanks Reggie. I have the names of all the siblings. I'm hoping their families are out there somewhere as we know nothing of that side of the family. I believe one of the brothers (possibly George) emigrated to Canada and did return, but unsure of details. I've emailed some Stacey's in Canada ... but to no avail. Yet! Forever hopeful!
