When was he last thought to be in the Southamton area?

I believe he was born in 1953 in Kent and married a M Sawyer in 1975 in Southampton. They had 2 children and the second was born in 1979 and he left 6 months later and has not been seen since. We have been told he was living in the Southampton area for a number of years following this
