Find Living Relatives

Hi Jan. I am pretty sure Janet Moon was born in 1922 because she was 21 at the time of her marriage in 1942. I've considered Thomas Moon and Janet Crosby/Crosbie as her parents as well. I think it might be worth getting hold of of Janet's birth certificate to confirm this. Thanks for all your help. Lxx

Lisa, I would just hold fire for a bit unless you are pretty certain this birth is right - I can't see a marriage for a Thomas Moon to a Crosby.

Yes! Her father's name is Thomas Moon. I think it might be a case of getting her birth certificate to see who her mother was aswell and then cross-referencing for any other siblings called Moon who have a mother with the same maiden name. Have you considered looking for his mother's family - siblings for example? I suggest this as the Jones name is so common. It's also possible she re-married and he took on his stepfather's name.
If you can pin down her birth then this might be possible.
There is a Janet Moon birth in West Derby 1922, which on the face of itis the most promising, but of course it's impossible to say.
Do you know anything else about her? Father's name for example?

George Philip Jones who was born in Birkenhead on the Wirral in 1947. He lived at Fairfield Cottage, Irby, Wirral until 1952 when his parents divorced. George's half-brother and half-sister from his father's second marriage are looking for him. George's mother was Janet Moon, who was born in Liverpool in 1922. His father was George Lowe Jones born in Liverpool around 1920. Please help find this long-lost but much sought-after brother. :-)
