If she isn't using the site, all she will get from GR is an email saying there is a message from you waiting...not the title of the thread.

I hav'nt asked my daughter, but wouldn't be surprised if she ignored it because she would not know who Jax Chan was as obviously that is not my real name

She joined about October/November 2011 - I've posted about 8 pm's - even heading them with hints on family to show true connection. I just hope she wasn't seriously ill and just tried as a final attempt. Also I've given up on sending more pm's as I don't want to put pressure on her but it would be nice to know she is still out there.

I see her membership number is not very old, in the last year...how many emails have you sent her?.

I sent a pm to my daughter when I noticed she was on here, again a membership opened last year with just herself and parents on her tree...she hasn't opened the message either...not that I'm bothered as we are in touch...

Not really much else you can do apart from keep sending her messages and hope she one day opens them

Hi Jax

Change of e-mail was my thought or she may have just created the e-mail for this site as she was adopted - looks like she registered under birth name. I'm annoyed that at the time I missed the entry she made; I had been checking daily for a year since uncovering details about her, I then found another branch of my family (she belongs to my wife's) and researched this for a few weeks went back to entering her name which came up but unfortunately she has not opened my enquiries. Doubt she knows her mother had ten children, all given away, two have died, two others located, leaving four (excluding her) to find. I have been hoping that the Long Lost Families would prompt the others to look.

Has she got an account on here and not replied to you? If she has and the message has not been read, there is a good chance she has changed her email address
