Oh My gosh - Many many thanks to both Shirley and Prickly Holly ...How amazing too to see that (Uncle ) Percy went to Australia and then must've come to NZ ...

I can't believe it -also his birthday 29 May as shown on the shipping record is the same day as my sister Shirley Kaye ....who died at 6 months old . There are so few Holding s here in NZ , but I am about to contact as many of them as I can get hold of ...

Hello again all ,
The best of thanks to prickly Holly . Today I have received the death registration of one Percy Holding known as Peter Holding - parents E Rowson and H Holding . He came to NZ and he died just a couple of suburbs away in Porirua , Wellington in 1997. So close and yet so far ...never married . Ashes were scattered ...Lived here for 22 years it said .

I can fill in another hole on my family tree but so sad . I will keep looking ...
