Hi there, I'm desperately trying to track down an Anthony Edward Lovegrove - known as "Joe" born 7th March 1939 and whom married a Kay S Riddle in 1966. He had 2 children that I know of - Tracey Patricia Lovegrove and Darren James Lovegrove (b 1968). I am searching on behalf of his son, Darren (I am his wife) who is desperate to contact his Father. He has family in Oxford and we have heard he has lived in Cornwall or Devon - possibly Exeter (we have been told he was living in Exeter in 2005). If anyone can help we really really would like to find him - as a matter of urgency. Thank you, Joanna.

Welcome to the boards, Joanna.

Do you know who his most recent partner is, or any further family knowledge?

Does the name 'haveron' have any relevance?

Thank-you

It looks like his birth was recorded as Antony E

ie. no H

This may or may not be how he signed it.

Are family members in contact with him?
There may be a married half sister to Anthony living in Devon.
She has herself shown on a tree on this site.

Thank you - he did remarry but we don't know her name sadly but we have heard they divorced. There are no family members that we are in touch with that are in touch with him. They talk of a cousin called Pat who was married to an American guy called Bill Young who lived in Oxford, but we do not appear to be able to make contact with them. My Husband has now just jumped in his van and started driving to the address in Honiton....I just hope it's him! He was born in Plymouth I believe and my husband thinks his Grandmothers maiden name was Haveron...but he can't be sure. He says it sounds familiar. Thank you everyone.

I can PM a phone number. The place in Wilmington was for sale at one point.

Think you may find this is the wrong guy.

If the double barrel surname came from his mothers maiden name then he is probably Anthony G born in 1944.

Flip - it's definitely him as he was most certainly born 7th March 1939. I have spoken to the lady who runs the B&B (now a loding house) and she said he lived there and she knew about my husband and his sister. My husband is on his way there now to see him. Thank you SO much everyone for your help.

So do I! It's all happened so quickly. I just hope it's a good reunion - after speaking with the lady they sound like similar characters (turns out she has known my husbands Dad since she was 17...I think she may well be the lady he married but later divorced - she told me that he had often lodged with her over the years). It's all very scary, thank you everyone!
