There must be thousands of Cunninghams in the UK today - including friends of mine who live in Scotland, and would have no connection whatsoever with you

Try to do some research..........................start with freebmd

If you want help from GR members, you must give first names, birth years and birthplaces

You will have to contact GR....the board users can't do anything for you

Did you actually compile a tree on the GR website?

Have you clicked on 'family tree' along the top of this page?

...............and the place name is Barrow in Furness

............although you have spelled it as 'Furnace' on the entries for Thomas Cunningham on the trees you have on here.

You must click on 'family tree'............................

You have TWO trees on here.............with different membership numbers, and different birth years for Thomas.

You should be able to find one of them..................

If the person who compiled the tree is not a GR member actively using the message boards, he/she will not see your message.

Have you considered researching this yourself? You could find it interesting, and enjoyable, to do so

You say.............

"I have had to give all my family details and p assed on............."

To whom did you pass the details? You must know....................

Have you tried Search All Trees under the Search button above?

You can put the names of the family in and see if anyone else has them.

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

I would suggest that you delete the automatic message about looking at their tree. Most members will not open their trees to you until a connection has been established so just type your own message about who you think you may have in common.
