thanks for trying to help ive just ordered the birth certs, im going to add my details on the gro site so fingers crossed,

If you know a birth name and details then you can get birth certs however you cant access adoption records ,

Have you tried Search Trees to see if he is listed.

You can also add your name to the National Adoption Register ,see the GRO site, and if he also adds his name he will see your enquiry.

Try also the Norcap site

hi am new to site trying to trace my half brother, he was born jason rainford in 1969 in dartford kent mother christina rainford. i have been told he was adopted but im to understand if you have been adopted you cant get access to there birth records, but i have found his birth record. yes christina is my mum and she did marry but is now devoiced. i dont know if jason name was changedwhen adopted,. any information would be appreciated
