Looking at the details below perhaps it is Dundas rather than Dundee

Thank you so much. Katy was indeed my granny, maiden name MacDougal or McDougal. Angus was born in Johnstone Renfrewshire in 1887 and was in the army - but I don't know which regiment. He was a drum major I believe. My granny returned alone to Scotland where my dad was born - also in Johnstone. My grandad returned later! Thank you for your assistance. I'm newish at this and still feeling my way.

Did Angus return to Scotland after having the son and did he actually marry out there after his wife died? Have you further information about your Father's parents?

Thank you. I believe this is the correct "Fletcher". Angus's daughter Isobel (my aunt) told me that her father had a child ( a son I believe) in Canada. I also remember Canadian relatives visiting during my childhood.

Angus appears in the tree of a GR member named Sandra.

When was Angus born?

I believe my dad, John Braid Fletcher, had half siblings in Canada. They shared the same father, Angus M Fletcher from Scotland. My dad was born in 1914 in Johnstone Scotland, and died in 1995, in Cheshire.

If I have living relatives in Canada it would be nice to say hello.
