Hi Reggie, the initial contact was via letter, that's why I'm on here.

I've done a search as you suggested & the name appears 3 times . Two are possibilities so I've contacted the tree owners.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

Claire.

Surely it would be better to use the forum through which the original contact was made...........if he isn't a GR member who is actively using these boards, he can't see your post.

And a lot can happen in twenty years...........

Having said that.........have you looked for the woman's details in 'search all trees'?

What is the name of his grandmother - if he is on this site she should show in his tree?

Thanks again. I'm new to this & it's a long shot. He contacted me in the early 1990's.

Did Ben contact you through this site?
If so, have you tried to send him a pm?
Also, what is the name of his grandmother?
Thanks

Added:
The Ben O'Halloran who is on genes does not specify a place of birth. Do you know where he is from?

Hi there,
I'm looking for Ben/Benjamin O'Halloran. He contacted me some years ago regarding his Grandmother & at the time I wasn't able to help. I think she was my Papa's sister.
If anyone has any details please contact me.
Thanks for reading my post.
Claire.
