Find Living Relatives

I am looking for relatives of my grandmother Bridget Donovan, also known as Agnes Donovan, born 10th July 1878 at 36 Kyrls Street, Cork. Her father is Patrick Donovan, fitter, of the same address.

Do you have any more information on her - did she marry in Ireland and stay there? Did her parents stay in Ireland - it may help in finding them on census returns.

Michael, I realise you are new to this site, but without some feedback it will be virtually impossible to help you find the "living relatives" of your grandmother. What exactly are you hoping for? Have you followed Reggie's advice and tried seach trees?

None coming up on Ancestry trees.

1. She used the name Agnes because she didn't like Bridget.
2. She went to England and married my grandfather. Maybe some of her sisters(thanks for the info) did so too.
3. I'd be interested in the Irish relatives but as they are so far all female, we can expect surname changes there.

Hi Flip. She Married 1910 London. So I'll try 1901. Impossible to tell (for me) from Irish records, as the name is so widespread.

Michael, I'm not finding a marriage in London in 1910 - the only one I can see is in Cardiff, are you sure about this? There is however a marriage for Agnes.

What was your grandfather's name please?

Sorry It was 1911.

If you want help try posting up what you know. There are 2 marriages, both after the 1911 census, one has missing spouses, although they can be found from other sites, the other has 2 possible spouses.

Thanks Jax, though my other Donovan relatives remain as elusive as ever. William and Bridget married giving her name as Agnes and had to go back a week later to correct it.
