Looking in 'search trees' I see that you only appear only to quote the County as the birthplace...........you should try to find more specific info.

freebmd is a vital site for research..........

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

And the 1881 census is free..............so you can use that to get more accurate details

Unless someone else on here is researching the names, you can't hope to contact living relatives through GR

Have you followed the good advice about using 'search trees'?

Hi Reggie
Most of the familys mentioned came/come from the Leicestershire
area of England so far no luck i must need a code..
Also i would like to access any Croshers decendants that went to
Manhatten New York in the 1880s have traced them to about 1914
would love to meet some of the live decendants.
Thankyou for your help and good luck with your research too
Ann Crosher

As the surname Crosher is reasonably uncommon, you could try the on line UK phone book..............once you've done some research on freebmd to get an idea of first names and locations within England

http://www.thephonebook.bt.com/publisha.content/en/search/residential/search.publisha

American phone listings are also on line.........

Try Search All Trees, under the Search button above.

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.
