Wonderful news Teresa.

You will be able to pass on so much family information. Hopefully some photos etc too.

I am so excited for all of you.

Hope that you are able to calm down enough to sleep.

Teresa With Irish Blood in Me Veins Report 29 Aug 2012 16:01

2 years ago I posted a message on A******* on their England Adoption message board looking for a female child born to my late Mum's cousin. I quoted her DOB and the Hospital she was born in nothing more.

Last week I had a reply to that message from the daughter of the adopted child! She told me her Mum's birth name so I knew it had to be who I was searching for.
And......she only lives half an hour's drive from me.

After numerous emails between us, on Monday afternoon they came to visit me. What a joy it was to meet them both and living so close to one another we can physically keep in touch!

Sadly the adoptive child's mother died a few months after giving birth, but I'm sure she was looking down on us knowing that her adopted baby has found another living blood relative.
