Waterbeach is not far from the Cambridge/Lincolnshire border and there is a Harold R Smith in Lincolnshire on 192, age guide 55 - 59, but you need to pay for more details. There is no guarantee that it is your man.

***Edit *** I think the age is way out if the guide is correct

Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

I think Waterbeach is in Cambridgeshire.

The 1961 marriage was in Cambridge. I will send the reference for the certificate by pm.

Do you mean you want to know who his parents were? If so, I advise getting the marriage cert which (should) have his father's name on it plus Harold's age, names of witnesses and an address for him. It's such a common name you need every scrap of info you can get hold of.
Where is Waterbeach though??
