	There are 2 births for a John S. Walker in the right area, around 1950-ish. As he moved a long way from his birthplace, he could be anywhere couldn't he. As his name is so common you really need to sort out which is yours before you can carry on. This will give you much more to go on. He might have siblings with easier names to trace for example. And you might be able to find out who his parents were. Jan
