Could there be confusion in names as,

Former birth name --Bessie Campbell Leckie--married D S Middleton.1938 Glasgow.

the naming pattern in Scotland often gives a family surname as a middle name or part of the name.

192.com has a few Bessie Campbells.
You have given no indication as to places or ages for Bessie (other than possibly born about 1927ish), so a little more information would be helpful.
Do you believe Bessie is still alive, and is she always called Bessie?

Are we given to assume your other was catherine? Why was she a middleton?

My Grandmother married 3 times becoming White, leckie then Campbell. She had a daughter Catherine White in 1945 who was known as Catherine Middleton. My Mother married Adam Park in 1963. This is as far as i have been able to go trying to find my family. Can anyone help me
