Hi, Can anyone help me trace my birth family? I was born Karl Addison in 1973 and my Mother was called Janet T Richardson. in 1970 she gave birth to Tara and in 1972 A Girl called Amanda who was adopted by her Maternal Grandmother. Janet married a David Sawyer in 1972. I have since found out she married again in 1976 to a Michael D Rayner and had 4 children, (Michaela, Ronald, Donna and Hayley all born in Essex) I am now being lead to believe that she then married Andrew P Laming in 1986 in Gravesend and possibly Married again in 1998 to someone called Groombridge. If you have any information please message me. Thanks Jason.

Jason,
You have posted a lot of very personal information which is not suitable to be made available all over the internet.
It is likely that your post will be reported and possibly removed.
Can you delete some of the very personal details?

Have you looked to see if anyone on here has any of these people in their trees?
Have you looked on facebook for her?
Have you applied for the marriage certificates to check that it is the correct person?
Have you tried 192.com?

Has the person who reported this also sent a pm to Jason telling him what has happened, and why they have done so?
Have they suggested which parts to delete, and how he could rewrite it so that it is acceptable?
That would be helpful for someone who has never posted on these boards before.
Thank-you.

It is a balance between specifying who you are looking for, and invading their privacy by putting their details all over the internet.
Also, the information about the destination of a husband was not suitable.
Could you put her birth name and year, and area.
A list of husband's surnames, with years, and area of marriage.
Specifying number of children you believe born to each marriage, without naming them.
I am guessing that the person who reported you did not send you a pm to ask you to amend your post, and what to remove (Have you checked your inbox?)

(Was she definitely born Richardson, as the marriage to Laming brings up another surname also?)

HI Patchem, Wasn't born Richardson as was adopted but that was the name she was adopted with. I have all the details certificates etc but have come across a major stumbling block.

Shelly, Thank you for your kind advice also and I will repost with the info u advised. Apologies for any trouble caused on the forum.
