Thanks again, Jax. I found another marriage , to Samuel F Hewitt in 1927, and one much later to George Arnfield in 1936, easier names than Taylor, as you said. Also a death in Sept Q 1923 aged 20, which age tallies exactly.
I am going to look in The Glossop Chronicle obituaries to see who attended her mother's funeral in 1953.
Meanwhile, I feel to enter all the information I have on Tom onto a World War 1 website, for posterity, in the event I don't find any living relatives. Another option is to let the Glossop Heritage Society have everything. What do you think ?
No success yet with searching the Trees. but something is going to come, hopefully.
Thanks again, Chris

Thank you for your interest and desire to help. I do have a lot of information about Tom's family history. As you suggest, I'll keep searching for living descendants of Annie on trees, and other sites.

Have you searched the trees on here to see if there are any connections?

Annie was sister of Tom Bennett, born 1896, who was in the 10th Cheshire regiment and killed in action in 1916 in Belgium. Their parents were John Thomas Bennett (of Glossop) and Alice Louisa Jackson (of Brigg)

Our relative was engaged to Tom. Would be interested to hear from any of Tom and Annie's relatives.
