Find Living Relatives

I am trying to find the family of Sidney George James Richard Baxter, my birth father.
He was living at 28 Hampstead Road, Liverpool 6 in 1946. He had a Spanish Mother.
I would be grateful for any information.

There are a couple of possible births to the above couple - one forename looks as if it might be Spanish, which would fit in with your info re. his mother.

When was he born roughly? Must say i can't see an obvious birth for him with all those names!

I think he was born circa 1916, but can't find any record of his birth anywhere.
Maybe he was a war baby? and born abroad!

I think you need his marriage cert. This will give his father's name and Sidney's age which might help you.
Do you know when and where he died? And what about checking the electoral register?

I think I will have to send for his birth certificate. I thought he had gone abroad to live but my mum saw him in Liverpool during the 1970's and in her own words..was wearing a mac like Colombo!! I don't know when he died, but I am presuming he has. He would be in his 90's if still alive. Have tried the electoral rolls, but he seems so elusive!

This is strange, my Mum was told he was already married, in 1946! Wonder if the 1948 marriage was a second one?

The 1948 marriage has the correct initials and is in the correct area so it has to be him.

There's an Elaine who has Iris in her tree on this site. Iris was born 1918.
