Florence (1904-1967) was the eldest child of Thomas and Florence Beattie, nee Dilworth. She had at least 4 siblings, Sarah,George, Lillie and Robert and lived on Merrion Road, Dublin up to the 1940's, later Brighton Road, Rathmines, and subsequently at 33 Grosvenor Place, Rathmines, with her mother and Robert, Violet F, Agnes C and Thomas F Beattie. Violet was still listed as resident there in 2003.
In 1928,Florence gave birth to a baby girl, Marjorie, who was placed for adoption in England, and who has only recently discovered her Irish roots. Marjorie would love to discover her living relatives and find out more information about her family history.
