I am looking for for any desendents of Ellen Smith( birth name Wright) born 2nd qtr 1871at Brightlinsea Essex, she had 7 children Beatrice 1892,May 1894Henry 1899 Edith 1902 Ellen1904 And William1906. Ifound them on 1901 census liveing in Alverstoke Gosport Hampshire, and in 1911 census liveing in Clacton-on Sea Essex I would be very grateful if if someone out there among the vast family tree of SMITH,s could help me

You have not said why you believe you have the correct birth for her. I think you have the wrong one.
If she was not born until the second quarter, she will normally show as 9, 19, 29, etc on the censuses. She could be a late registration, so you could still be correct, but she does appear as Ellen M.

Where did you get her father's occupation - from both marriage certificates?

You should have kept all your information together as I have duplicated work

As you have said in your previous queries, it is very difficult to try to find who someone with surname Smith married. That is why you hope to make contacts through this site with other family members.

If you think her Mother is Victress, you have already found Ellen in the 1871 census. If she is 7 months old she cannot possibly be the birth you refer to.

Many thanks patchem I knew that there were siblings for Ellen and they were in the Workhouse but Icould,nt find their names,but of course these were Wright,s and I am interested in Ellen Maud and her children. I found Ellen Maud birth cert, and am waiting for it (a full birth cert)again many many thanksGlagys
