i have searched scotlands people for a marraige but cant find one registered
i have also tryed facebook

If you know what the "J" stands for in her daughter's name, you could search for the daughter's marriage (if she married in Scotland) on Scotlandspeople. While you would not be able to view the marriage, it would perhaps give you another and maybe less common surname to search on 192.

i am trying to trace my grandmothers brothers daughter
her name is margaret clark nee japp
she married george clark and they had a daughter ann j clark
ann was born about 1961 in the paisley area of scotland
any help would be great
