Betty's death was probably registered by a 'child' - the info about that person may help your quest

Thank you Rose, I had that but did not want to clutter up with too much detail.

Reggie, the offspring info came from Freebmd but I could only presume they were the children from the dates and location.

I hadn't got round to looking for Desmond and Betty's deaths so thanks for the look-up. However in view of the birth dates I thought that there was a better than evens chance they were deceased, so I was pinning hopes on tracing the children.

I had looked on 192.com but the names are fairly common.

Have also trawled through Ancestry but nothing looked right.

Betty was the sole survivor, most likely away from home in the Forces, when her parents and three sisters were killed in a public air raid shelter in 1940.

Born around 1920 N E London area.
Children probably Michael, Terence & Jill born around 1950.
