When you get to the image on Ancestry - click on the initial of the spouse surname in the toolbar above the image

Select the correct qtr.........and scroll through the relevant images till you find the entry you need

The link on ancestry may not be 'broken'. If one piece of information is incorrectly transcribed then the spouse name will not show up. Click on the image to make sure all facts are accurate.

My parents marriage in 1957 is'nt on there yet so unlikely anything recent would be

Freebmd doesn't yet have many transcriptions that recent.

Can you try area, and month details etc. on Ancestry and work backwards for a likely match?

ok ive tried searching for the marriage in 1979 on freebmd but nothing is showing at all

But when i put the details into freebmd - as the link on ancestry appears to be broken, i could not get the spouse name ..
